Delving into the persistence of water in my practice, the film was made looking at the movement of the river, built on the push and pull of the waves thrust. It is circled around 3 characters; the wind, water, and the Self (symbolised as the chair) - the left, the right and the voyeur (characterized through the camera lens). The filming style was inspired by director Justine Triet’s way of using the camera as both a character and medium. The two channels in the film were taken at different times of the day to show the delicate existence of two selves in different spatial planes, yet belonging to the same intellectual diaphragm.
